God Will Show The Way

I started blogging almost a year ago. Thanks to blogs like Simple Mom and The Creative Mama I first saw the need for a blog to be part of the community that I now adore. Not only were these blogs with big numbers Tsh and Angie made known that they are Christians despite the numbers. AWESOME! Even more the reason to have a blog, to share the Good News with others! Within weeks, after many conversations with God, I began to see a vision (or a dream) that He was giving me.

I am a person who loves to encourage people, it makes me smile. God also loves to see us encourage others. This vision was to have a site with a community of believers to inspire, encourage and share the Word of God in blogging and life. I wanted a place where big and small bloggers can unite in one place no matter numbers. However, most of us want these numbers whether we want to admit it or not. I saw more of a need where the newer bloggers could see the most important part of sharing their hearts online and that is being one with God.

Since I saw the vision, I had stopped blogging at my site The Bona Fide Life for a few months. I was feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, and having doubt in myself. Around Christmas time during some down time with my husband being laid off and just feeling tired and weary from what life was handing me. I felt that need to be in this community again. I talked with God many times, over and over again. Until I finally heard without a doubt! “Do this Michele, I am here I will show the way”.  So I started again this past January with my focus on goals and accomplishing them. He has taught me lessons in those goals every week. I have slowed down in life so I can here Him more often.

I can tell you that The Relevant Conference has given me that nudge that it’s a need. God placed people in my path this past month that are going to or are planning to go to Relevant in October. I knew without a doubt that these eight ladies were the ones to share my vision with and this journey with. They have encouraged me, inspired me and uplifted me the past few weeks to get this done. The same thing we want to do with you. We are intentionally reaching out to small and big bloggers. To make a place to gather regardless of status in the blogging community. One thing we all have in common is God.

We have big plans that are God’s Will. So, stick around and see how good God is! I just ask you to pray for us.

Thank you for allowing me to share a vision for this community. I thank God for each and every one of you that support us! Most of all I praise God for the miraculous things He has already done and will continue as long as we allow Him to show us the way.
